Hello, angel friends. Before sending you an Easter poem, I’d like to share a blog that I received from Ron McConnell of Xzone Radio. He had been going through a difficult period, as we all do from time to time, and was wondering if the stress would ever lift. “I was working downstairs in my office,” he says, “and suddenly felt this warmth all over my body as if I was being hugged by an unseen ... Guardian Angels - True Stories Of Answered Prayers
Christian Book Excerpt  - Angels

It was a hot July day in 2003, and Susan Archie was in her back yard, looking at the big tractor her husband used when he cut the lawn. He had always promised to teach her how to drive it, but with all the outside chores in their rural home in South Carolina, he hadn’t gotten around to it yet. Right now he was working in front, but the back lawn needed cutting, and the tractor didn’t look all that ... Read Christian Book Excerpt

Hello, angel lovers. Today there are NO announcements, just a very special story. We often say, “I’ll pray for you!” But do we honestly believe that there is power in prayer, even more power when many are praying in unison? Hello, angels. Just wanted to update you on the little boy, Isaac Frank, who you all prayed for after he was seriously burned in an accident this summer. Isaac's story will appear in their diocesan newspaper this week, written by his mom and grandmom, and if you could see a recent photo of him, even you would have a tough time believing how beautiful he looks. I say "even you" because---althoug ... Read Christian Column

Friends, I know that I shortchanged you last week by not sending an angel story. So today I'm going to send you an extra mailing. This too in NOT an angel story, but since we are headling into October, the official Month of the Angels in the Catholic church, I thought you would like to know about it. Maybe some of you easterners have been there. My only problem here is that I sometimes have ... Read Christian Column

Christian Column  - Angels

Hello, angel lovers. This is the last of our stories for 2009. Is it my imagination, or did this year fly by? We have a serious prayer need this year: our friends, the Cayces---who we help support in Thornton, Arkansas---have a son Daniel, who is himself an earth angel. Many of us have watched him grow up, and develop ministries there, collecting blankets, baby food and toothbrushes as his spe ... Read Christian Column

Not much news these days. Perhaps the angels are taking a rest. Here's a story: "Yesterday I had a car accident on my way home with Emma,"Lisa Trowbridge's March, 2009 email to her friends began with this startling news. "This is hard to write," she went on, "yet the message is important." So important that she wanted everyone to share it. As Lisa explained, she and her four-year-old dau ... Read Christian Column

Dear Friends, This morning, when I realized that I had sent out the same story as last time (Robin Leach's amazing Christmas) I knew that I was supposed to discuss this subject with all of you---the topic of being TOO BUSY. (And when TOO BUSY, making dumb mistakes.) I find myself in this predicament, attempting to do everything and still have time to enjoy "retirement." I also have developed so ... Angels don’t always announce their arrival. And sometimes the helper is an ordinary person acting like an angel. Either way, they change our lives. Tammy Kline would agree. Tammy, her husband Rich and several others had embarked upon a climb on the Grand Canyon. An experienced hiker (and married to one), Tammy had never had a serious problem climbing hills in Colorado. But now as the group ... Read Christian Column

Talk about embarrassed. Last week I mentioned that I was trying to keep this mailing at a professional level. I then sent the story around without "cleaning it," a process that I know how to do, but occasionally forget. It left weird signs on the message, causing many of you to think that your email was in trouble. Fear not---you are fine. And if I remember to prepare the mail correctly, I'll ...
