The mortal is bound but so long to existence,
till there comes a time that time overtakes health.
Then the soul in its nurture, shall know uncountable future,
moth and rust shall take money, but not spiritual wealth.
Yes, they found their Eternal for which they’d been hopin’,
as in their pine box they’re sweetly reposed.
But now they’ve passed through Heaven’s g

If indeed a tear must be shed;
not the bitter tear, but the better instead.
For the bitter tear is for a want unfulfilled,
while the better is a tear for a life as GOD willed.
The bitter is hope dashed after hope was raised,
the better for a life remembered and praised.
The bitter for a worldly castle that crumbled,
the better for a Heaven for a life willing humbled.

Friends and kinfolk, I ain’t here, I done gone home, be certain.
No more trials or test, I come into my rest; no more pain or hurtin’.
Weep then a season, if you must, but let not grief control.

Yesterday I saw you lived your life to the fullest
You were happy; the tone of your laughter was at its best
Your face was shining brightly in vivid content
Who would have known that here on earth,
You’d simply be a short time guest?
Today in the aftermath of that gruesome evening
Your loved ones, friends and I gather together
Coming in closely I gazed down on you

"Lord, by your stripes" you said, "We're healed"
You said, "I Am the God that healeth thee"
But today my loved one is no more
Upon the earth with me
I prayed, "Lord, if you're willing"
"You can make him whole"
"I will" is what I heard you say
Yet we buried him today
Then in the stillness of my soul
Jesus said, "Beloved, it is I"
"Child of mine, with eyes of faith"

I want to say I Love You, I know that you were mine.
I need to say forgive me, For I have crossed the line.
I know I'll never feel your touch or see your smiling face.
I know I'll never smell your baby's breath or feel the warmth of your embrace.
I know I'll never hear your voice exclaim "Mama I Love You"
Because I gave it all up the day I chose to abort you.
A thousand words could never exp
