LORD, let not frustrations cloud my eyes,
that I see only the gathering storm.

Let me rather to dwell on Your sunlight to tell,
that guides me assured through the world and its harm.

Along the way, my sails may be tattered,
the riggings not always the proper taught.

But through it all, through calm sea or squall,
I shall reach again harbor by Your wheel hand wrought.
