Too Soon

Life
- Fiction No
Too soon the time has passed away, and we would call it wasted,
For we care more for things untried, than what by faith, we’ve tasted.
No more adventure to be had, roads untried mean more than went.
Our covered ground, not Heaven bound, but all too often plain hell bent.
Simple pleasures, hope and love, no glitz and glamour, thus ignored.
The carpets red, but so’s the shed and saving blood of our sweet LORD.
Too soon the time shall pass away, and with it will go lessons taught.
The worth of visions highly cherished…….
Or worthless dreams that came to naught.
