I don’t go to church……all “going to church” involves is walking or driving to some tax exempt property and entering the building. On the LORD’s Day and at other times, however, I do seek to gather with and receive and give mutual affirmation with a group of blood bought kinfolk who share the commonalities of true Kingdom Purpose;
of giving witness to the fact that we are all “the least of these” and that without Grace and Salvation that only comes through Jesus Christ we are and ever will be, quite literally….not a blessed thing,
of taking that witness beyond the walls of a single building into everyday life and circumstance that such Grace and Salvation are proclaimed and offered to all,
of responding with the spirit of that Grace to those who are so desperately seeking, the homeless, the addicted, the prisoner, the situationally desperate of any and every stripe….again for each in our own way are just as desperate….That Grace was there for us when we needed it. How can we not share it with others?
No….I don’t “go to church”, for that would accomplish little, if anything. Rather, I humbly seek to take a lifestyle of challenged faith with me, whenever and wherever I do go.
