Heaven ain’t got no kind of fences,
No barb wire, chain link, split rail or picket.
You only need Grace and Salvation to get in,
Ain’t no one waitin’ to punch your ticket.
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
Yeah, now and forever they done paved the course.
So faith as a choice couldn’t get much better,
But pride and self could get a whole lot worse.
Yeah, Heaven ain’t got no kind of fences,
As you’ll find out should you make it there.
Jasper walls, that’s all and more’s the pity
If you should miss that city four square.
