As I walk through my life’s screen door,
let me by faith know just what awaits.
Though here humbly I dwell, let me live to tell,
eternity’s there beyond Heaven’s gates.
Frustration and trials may encumber life’s miles,
compounded by pride and the world’s idle chatter.
But for certain I know on that day I’ll go,
where the answers be known, but they no longer matter.
Yes, I shall know my Lord face to face,
and knowing no end to that communion so sweet.
The world and its’ problems and trying to solve them,
all fade and diminish at my Savior’s feet.
