I’m not where I was this time last year,
I am where I am right now.
Let me find in the moment God’s direction and will,
as before Him I humbly bow.
The past is past and can be no more,
let me learn from it nonetheless.
Not memories and scars of pain and sorrow,
but the ways He chose to bless.
May I take each day as manna received,
and as water that from the rock springs.
And work in the faith of His mighty power,
for whatever tomorrow brings.
