Doors Of The Heart

The Bible speaks of assurances of “rooms prepared within His mansion”. This is out of love and compassion. The Bible also speaks, in parable, of our “building bigger barns”. This is out of desire of control and value placed upon the material to assert that desire.
Heavenly mansion, or earthly barn; which is more important?
The “doors” of the heavenly mansion are open to invite.
The “doors” of the earthly barn are closed to contain, confine and hoard.
How does that apply to the “doors” of our own hearts?
Do we guard and protect our emotion, deciding by and of ourselves who receives it?
Or do we seek to share Christ-like compassion?
Are the “doors of our heart” open or closed?
