She was crushed and beaten to the ground.
The world hurt her, and put her in bounds.
He saw the woman - the part of his flesh.
His words bring life, and now is his quest.
He examined closely and found her broken.
His words of power, over her to be spoken.
He prepared the words and spoke with tender care,
Every living word he gave with authority and prayer.
Power filled her body, her hair aflame.
Slowly she stood no longer in pain.
Her womb filled with energy - multiplying the seed.
She gave birth to the blessing, giving more to his need.
His own wounds healing, like Sampson he stands.
Didn’t know his pain, or that she had command.
Together as one, husband and wife against the world.
Using the power of their words, the enemy hurled!
Words are power, they heal and deliver.
With God and prayer, the enemy quivers.
Husband and wife grow strong together -
Using healing words, all storms they weather.
