From above He came
The Word manifesting in flesh
Exposing the Almighty’s unfathomable secret
That man can dwell with GOD
From above He came
For the sick He descended
The publicans and sinners were His pals
For the hale and hearty do not need a doctor
From above He came
On the sea of sin He walked
Never did He sink
The impossible becoming possible
From above He came
He walked the talk
He talked the walk
Reverently living the will of GOD
From above He came
The living water resided in our midst
That life giving well
To forever quench our thirst
From above He came
Transfigured but He never lose face
Obediently suffering for my sake
Swallowing a humble pie for my iniquities
From above He came
The form of a servant He took
A friend indeed He was
Dying for my transgressions
From above He came
Blood of the new and everlasting covenant He shed
The pure and innocent blood of the Lamb without blemish
For the remission of my sins
