The master sent the Holy Spirit to have a talk with me,
The things that he revealed, I shall never forget, throughout eternity.
He took me in the spirit and allowed for me to see,
The wonders of His kingdom and perfect harmony.
The wonders of His kingdom took my breath away,
The power and the might, was an awesome thing to see,
The love and tenderness, that was given ever so free.
I heard the blessed voices, of the redeemed, as they sang praises,
To the one that sat upon the throne on the right hand of the Father.
I heard the blessed voices, of the redeemed as they sang praises,
To the one that sent the Redeemer to save a wretch like me,
Why He even bothered I can not say, but for me a constant source of glee.
I went to my knees and cried out loud,
My Father, my Savior, my love, let me sing with these.
I heard His voice in the garden of Gethsemane,
As He prayed to His Father, let this cup pass from me.
I heard His voice as He said, nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
My Father, my Savior, my love, let me sing with these.
I saw Him drink of that cup, and the things He suffered, for all humanity.
I saw Him as they placed the thorns upon that precious head and beat Him unmercifully.
I heard Him on the cross of Calvary, when He said it is finished, all for a wretch like me.
My Father, my Savior, my love, let me sing with these.
