Acts 26:-15-18
And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom you are persecuting. But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,
To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
What an awesome thing to consider here! That children of God can be equipped to turn men from the power of satan unto God. .That we have been given the privilege of rising up in Him and bringing change and deliverance to tormented men.
In the scripture text this is the charge that Jesus gave to the apostle Paul. According to the word, it is for those whom Jesus appoints as ministers. We are appointed by heaven to become "Change Agents". This is to fulfill all of God's will and plans for the eternal kingdom of Jesus Christ. We become ambassadors and "Change Agents" in the territories we are assigned..
You are probably wondering "How can this be?" I would answer that a deep journey of preparation is required. In order to be fully prepared for that heavenly mission we have to be trained and disciplined by our Father God. I know we all come to God from our carnal state, the natural man who has no power to even change himself. God said in one place "Can a leopard change his spots?". The natural animal must be supernaturally equipped by the Holy Spirit. We come to the Lord much as wild horses who must be reigned in and gentled. I'm sure all are familiar with the term "Breaking horses". Wild horses must be handled very gently so that a deep trust is built and all fear of their master is removed. This is not an easy thing to do, but once this process is accomplished they are trained to accept the rider and the reins of total control and be led wherever their master would take then. They are "broken", they cease from kicking against the pricks and love submission and loving service. .The beast has been broken and is ready and fit for the masters use...
