Rev: 13:1-3: And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 2: And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. 3: And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
(The sea is the nations. In Rev: 12:9, the devil is the dragon and he is described as have seven heads and ten horns. Here, it says the beast has seven heads and ten horns and that the devil or dragon empowers him. The beast is the New World Order. The United Nations will be the seat or headquarters. Seven is the number meaning perfection. So, seven heads means perfect unity in their endeavor, which is to defeat the Lamb. [Dan: 7: 19-22] But God will use their diabolical plot to destroy the whore--Babylon, the mother of harlots. [Rev: 17 and 2Thes: 2.] The ten horns is the full number of members in the UN. Ten stands for the full number. We count to ten and then start over.
One of the heads had a deadly wound. This could be talking about Iraq, because that’s the seat of Babylon. Or it could be North Korea, because they are the top persecutors of Christians in the world and they were defeated in the Korean war, but they are back. It could be China, because communism [another enemy of the gospel] appears to be suppressed, but it may be just that it went underground for a time. Or it could be, as some suggest, the antichristian spirit at one time conquered, but now back in full force. .I don’t know which it is, but I know the one who is appointed the speaker for the UN is the antichrist. He will appear to have solved the world’s problems and they will be very impressed with him.)
4-7: And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? 5: And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. 6: And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. 7: And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
(He will speak evil things against God and the saints and his words will be believable to a world taught to accept homo-sexuality, abortion, promiscuity, lasciviousness, divorce, etc. He will overpower the saints with his lies, spoken of in 2Thes: 3. He only overpowers the saints that have strayed from the Word of God, but that is the majority of the church.)
8-10: And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. 9: If any man have an ear, let him hear. 10: He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
11-14: And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. 12: And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13: And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, 14: And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
(This guy claims to be a Christian, but he is really a follower of the beast--the UN philosophy. He is able to do great things and the earth will be impressed with him. He will have the statue erected--this may be a huge computer and monitor that will display the glory of the beast. He glory will be his excellence in the things that mankind admires.)
15: And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. 16: And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18: Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
(I think the image is a huge computer system that has the data on every one living on the earth. And it will be the data base for that scanners that decides who can buy or sell. Those who want to do commerce will have to sign a UN pledge in order to get their mark. Six is the number for man--666 is man united.
Hitler is the closest picture we can get of the antichrist and I’m told this guy is going to be even worse and the suffering and death will be world-wide. The rule under Nazism and Communism was and still is ruthless. They believe that any means of accomplishing their goals is acceptable. To conquer, they have committed every cruelty ever heard of and many never heard of and they did it daily on a mass scale without one qualm. They called truth anything that promoted their propaganda and a lie anything that didn't. They believed in peace only after they have conquered the world.
There have been many forms of governments since time began, many started out good, but they all ended up being oppressive, but THERE IS A GOVERNMENT WHICH WILL NOT FAIL and it will not reign by tyranny. And it will not come in with violence or uninvited. It is the millennial reign of Jesus Christ. Why will this one work?)
Rev: 17:12-14: And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. 13: These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. 14: These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
(God created the world and man and God is Love and love is the only workable system. The love we are talking about is called unselfishness--caring for others the same as yourself. Adam and Eve made a selfish choice and thereby brought in the weakness that is responsible for all the bloodshed ever shed. All bloodshed is due to someone or some group's selfish choices.
That is where the corruptible nature of mankind came from. The greatest king of the Old Testament (who was great because he desired to please God) even he fell into selfishness and oppressed. Because he believed in this living God that I am talking about, he repented of his wrongdoing and, all in all, he wasn’t too bad a king, but his offspring were slowly corrupted and eventually the whole nation fell into sin and was conquered. The story is found in 1st and 2nd Kings.
Even the most likable person or the most moral person in the world falls into selfishness some times and thereby oppresses. All except for one person, Jesus Christ. He never committed one selfish act. He not only never made a sinful choice, but He made the ultimate righteous choice to die on the cross in the sinners place, so that all who receive Him as their Lord and Savior can be saved from sin--selfish or harmful choices-- and from death and a hellish eternity.
He was undoing what Adam and Eve had done. He had the same carnal nature as everyone else, the nature that falls into selfishness. He was tempted like everyone is. But He resisted temptation by the Spirit of God within Him. He refused to disobey God as Adam and Eve had done. I say He was tempted daily just like everyone else is to do unloving things and to please His flesh. He never yielded to temptation. He kept God on the throne in His heart. He got the kingdom back from the devil, who stole it from Adam because of Adam's foolish choice--to submit to the lie and the liar instead of God and righteousness. He overcame the carnal nature by ruling over it, subduing it--bringing it into line with the Word of God.
Love reigned in His heart, not His own personal desires. Adam and Eve were weak--they had God’s Spirit, but they gave in to their fleshly desires, because of the liar’s persuasion, even though it was not righteous. The only way to be able to win over selfishness is to be born of the Spirit of God. Then you will come alive to the fact that love is the Spirit to be desired and the Spirit of true strength.
The only everlasting government will be the reign of love. Love (agape love or the God kind of love) has no weakness in it. It will always do what it right, therefore it will always be building and prospering, never ruining or destroying that which is good.
Jesus overcame the devil by refusing to let the devil beguile Him into making a wrong choice. He did what God told Adam and Eve to do: Do righteousness, God said. That is why He is King forever--the incorruptible King. He is sitting at the right hand of God right now, representing His people. When it is time for the millennial reign, He will come back and reign here and show the world what an incorruptible government run by ‘all caring’ love can do.
Would you like to have a king like Jesus? Would you like to have a brand new start and along with it the power to make good choices? Would you like to have a perfect teacher who will always be with you to teach you to make the right choice? Then repent of doing things your way and bow to God as loving Father--the one who knows what’s best for all. Ask Jesus to come into your heart and to be your Lord and Savior. Then you will be born again of the Spirit of God. You will be made spiritually alive just as Adam and Eve were before the fall and you can begin to rule over your fleshly desires by having Jesus reign in your heart.
You will need to renew your mind with the Word of God so that you will be able to make spiritual choices instead of carnal choices. You can become a part of the answer instead of a part of the problem.
God’s plan is the only plan that can work on a continual basis, because it is the only one that does what must be done with the corruptible nature--it does away with it and replaces it with the incorruptible Jesus Christ.
