Jesus Christ Has Come In The Flesh

Christian Author Writer 1Jn: 3:24-4:1-3: And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2: Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

This does not say, every person who confesses--it says every spirit that confesses. So, it says if we practice keeping His commandments, it will be because we dwell in Him and He in us and the spirit we manifest will show or confess Christ has come in the flesh for the works that He did, we will do also.

Jn: 14:12: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13: And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14: If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. 15: If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16: And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17: Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18: I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

Jesus Christ has come in the flesh means God’s Messiah has come--the one for which we seek. Through Christ, God has already manifest what flesh does when His Spirit dwells in it. Our actions and words are either for Christ or they are anti-Christ.

1Jn: 2:3-6: And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4: He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5: But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 6: He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

So our protection from the anti-Christ is to reject any teaching that differs from Jesus’ life. That may sound like “a given” to you, but I’m saying that when people deny the power of the blood, or deny that healing is in the atonement, or that we have been given the gift of righteousness and can reign in life, or talk as if we are only human when the Godhead lives in our spirit and we are to live as crucified to our flesh and alive to and led by the Spirit of God, their words and actions manifest the spirit of anti-Christ.

One example of that spirit that is a counterfeit of Jesus’ Spirit is the one claming to be love and grace and in the name of love and grace it not only does not condemn people, it does not condemn sin or sinful flesh either. It condemns nothing except the original interpretation of God’s Word and those who refuse to agree with the new interpretation.

This spirit claims that all things can be done in love so therefore it is the intent, not the act that must be judged and dealt with. This premise null and voids a lot of Bible teaching. This spirit declares the passages that condemn sins of the flesh to be the writer’s own input into what God may have inspired. This spirit claims that this enlightenment came through a deeper knowledge of grace. This sounds very spiritual, very graceful, and very wise.

It is an anti-Christ spirit because God sent His Son into the world to save us from sin and death.
If the book that tells us the good news that God sent His Son into the world to save us from sin and death is in error about what sin is, where is our anchor? It is anti-Christ because God sent His Son to purchase us back to Him so He could impart spiritual life to us. This life is a life of pleasing the Spirit of God rather than our flesh or sinful nature.

It is an anti-Christ spirit because God sent His Son into the world to impart to mankind righteousness, the knowledge of the truth, and the power to resist evil. And if someone can commit what the Bible calls sin and have it declared righteous by some man, where is our written authority? The Bible is then not the Bible--the book to live by because God had it written to communicate truth and His will and ways to man.

Ezek: 7:21-26: And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall pollute it. 22: My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it. 23: Make a chain: for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence. 24: Wherefore I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be defiled. 25: Destruction cometh; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none. 26: Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumour shall be upon rumour; then shall they seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients.

1Jn: 3:4-6: Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 5: And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 6: Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

1Jn: 4:5-6: They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 6: We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

1Jn: 5:18-21: We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. 19: And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. 20: And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. 21: Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
