The Bride Will Be The One Riding A Camel - Part 4

Christian Author Writer Matthew chapter 14:
In part one... I spoke of a revelation needed that we may understand how Holy Spirit ministers to us after our birth into the kingdom of God. Preaching and quoting scripture alone to loved ones and new converts will not get the job done. We need to understand how the Holy Spirit ministers to all of us as we walk this Journey of the Redeemed.

In part two... I spoke of the essential requirement of time needed, "alone and in the Spirit", uninterrupted from outside forces. Without it Beloved we shall never receive the power needed to run the race. Nor receive "Manna from the Master" needed to feed ourselves and His Sheep.

In part three... I spoke of the Master's great compassion for the masses that followed Him, and the Hunger for His words, that brought not only physical healing but spiritual as well. I also spoke of His Desire that we come to "Know Him" and understand Him on a personal and intimate basis. God really does care about those that genuinely seek Him.

As we begin part four let us stop briefly and take a look at the scene that has unfolded before us...Keep in mind as we proceed, the followers of Jesus in that day did not have the new testament to make reference to, we in our time are a privileged generation indeed. He said He will send to us a comforter that will lead us and guide us in the truths needed to run the race and be over-comers."Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free." Someone asked me how I got so much out of the history of the things Jesus did while He walked among man, the answer is...

"But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou learned them; and from a child thou hast known the Holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." 2 Timothy 3:14

When I first started into the ministry I was blessed with a mentor that told me, "when you read the word go slow and let the Holy Spirit teach you, you will be amazed at how He will bring it alive to you and show you things that the average reader will miss". He called it discovering the deeper treasures of the word of God.

Here is what we see...
1.    The masses are in a dry uncultivated  desert place.
2.    The masses are hungry for the true word of God… ( church of that Day)
3.    The darkness was descending… (Tick-Tock, Time is slipping away)
4.    The lack of food… ( not only for the body, they needed food for the soul )
5.    The preachers [disciples] unable to provide nourishment. (on their own)
6.    The preachers wanted to send them away… (for help outside The Church)
7.    The rebuke of Jesus… (“They need not depart, give ye them to Eat”)

I think I need not spend a lot of time convincing you that this scenario is not un-like the hour in which we live. The fourteenth verse is clear in the statement, He was moved with compassion.,.. Mark 6:34.. Said, ”He was moved because He seen them as sheep without a shepherd, A shepherd is one that cares for the flock, he feeds it, defends it from wolves, leads it to still waters and green pastures, when Jesus said this He was saying, they have no teachers and guides who cared for them, Yes they had scribes and Pharisees, however they were proud and haughty and cared little for the common everyday people. And when they did teach them they led them astray. A missionary friend in South Africa wrote me a letter recently asking me to help her raise even small amounts of offerings for the work her and her husband are doing there, she said the people they are working with are very poor and elderly and the big name preachers and organizations avoid them because they can’t get money from them and there is no pomp or flash to their (the preachers) image.

I am not blind to what I or anyone else sees in some of the antics going on in the church world today. Some of it is comparable to a three ring circus or a bless me club,
I saw a report on one of the news stations that said atheists know more about religion than Christians do in America……. I hear rumblings and pessimistic so called Christian people making statements like… the church is dead and nothing but hypocrites are a part of it… I hear some saying it’s a sign of the times, and we are in the midst of the great falling away!

Well Dearly beloved! Fasten your seat belts and hunker down, cause Poppa gonna stop and preach for awhile!... I can hear the voice of the prophet saying:

(Isa 61:1) "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; (2) To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, (3) To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified." (4) And they shall rebuild the old ruins, They shall raise up the former desolations, And they shall repair the ruined cities, The desolations of many generations.

Dear friend that is exactly the Spirit of Anointing that motivated our Master as He stood and gazed out at the mass of humanity that was present on that hillside on that day. Amen!  I read in Hebrews 13:8.. “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today and forever”. It doesn’t say He may be the same after awhile, or let’s hope He will be the same tomorrow, Praise God! He said He does not change! I don’t care if syrup goes to a dollar a sop, He does not change!  That means when He told Peter He is going to build His church, (not a church), but His church, that is exactly what He meant, and Bless God He is still building His Church, you can either get in, get out or get run over, that’s your choice, Poppa has no patience for a bunch of lukewarm “churchers”, crying about how bad and how sorry things are. If you are thinking like that, You need to shake yourself out of it or He will do it for you! The Church of the living God is still marching Beloved and calling for recruits, and volunteers. Amen! The word says in Matthew 16:, “I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” period… Amen?

If you develop that mentality you will become carnal and do not know the word of God, for those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. (6) For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. (7) Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. (8) So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. (9) But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. (Romans 8:5-9)

Let me point out, the things of the flesh spoken of in this scripture is not limited to things we often think of, lying, drunkenness, adultery, thievery, and such. We can also be in the flesh and carnal with attitude, defeatism and just in general not living by faith and believing the word of God. And that beloved is what this scripture is talking about; “For to be carnally minded is death”. Amen!

OH dear friend! Can you see what Poppa is talking about? There is no such thing as defeat in the word of God. We may look around and not like some of the stuff going on in the name of God, but you can be assured that the Bride of Christ is still being prepared and shall be prepared, and that Bride or Body of believers shall one fine glorious day hear that midnight cry calling it home to Glory! And we shall rise up to meet Him in the air.

"Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways and we will walk in His paths."

God Bless You
Poppa
