I stepped out into the cool late southern breeze,and gazed upon an amazing full moon. I just needed to get out and hear the beautiful sounds that the forest so abundantly offers this time of year. I looked around and I can see God every where. I can smell the sweet scents of summer and it seemed as though there is no end to the presence of my Almighty Father. Suddenly His sweet Holy Spirit descended upon me, at first as the gentle summer breeze and then began to build into a gradual increase in force. It was like a crescendo, not loud and obnoxious but rather full of strength and love and gentle sweetness. I reached out to touch Him and it seems that I could feel Him and His warmth. That same warmth began to flood my entire being and I cried out my Master my God my Love, here am I, what would you have me to do?
And the Holy Spirit whispered to me,hear the words of The Lamb of God,that he spoke so long ago,
"Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word" and suddenly the impact of those words brought me to my knees. Our wonderful Savior, the Prince of peace, the Lily of the valley, the Rose of Sharon, the Mighty counselor, the Great I Am prayed for me. On that old rugged cross he cried out Father forgive them. Our wonderful Redeemer prayed for me. Let me say it again, my Love prayed for me. God himself prayed for me. Jesus of Nazareth prayed for me.
And then I could hear the words of James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ saying, "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much".
And I can hear him saying, "Is any among you afflicted? Let him pray. Is any merry? Let him sing psalms. Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church and let them pray. The prayer of faith shall save the sick and then he brought it on home and shelled out the corn. In case you don't know what I mean by shelling out the corn, in the country, when we want to feed our livestock food that is good for them and give them strength, we shell out the corn, and James was shelling corn when he said,"Pray One For Another"
Holy Spirit, take me now to that sacred place, of the Holiest of the Holy
And in his presence, give to me, the words that I need to come boldly
Before the Throne of Grace, and call the names of these that have believed,
Because of the word of disciples past, I need my Sisters and Brothers
For strength and fellowship, these my Lord, by thy Spirit, you have received
A dear sister in the Lord asked me to pray for her husband, recently he had been stricken with cardiac problems and I already knew it before she ask. I am not a soothsayer, but rather a child of the King that loves my siblings. The Holy Spirit whispered that couples' name to me and I prayed before he had the heart attack. Can you feel him? Listen! Listen! "Pray one for another" .
I spent a good portion of the night hours before the Throne this day and I want you to know I love you.
