The Preacher Came

Though he didn't say a word,
a solemn peace was rather heard.
The fire didn't fall,
but the preacher came.
No room at the altars today,
nothing left for him to say.
Only songs were sung,
But the preacher came.
Testimonies with a shout,
no one wanted their way out.
Conviction laid the sinner out,
'cause the preacher came.
The Preacher was always welcome there.
You could feel Him everywhere.
Not a dry eye left to stare,
for the preacher came.
Love you, Lord.
