Hang on, my child,
victory line's in sight.
Checkered flag's awaving.
Run with all your might.
Don't get caught napping now.
Don't lose your fight.
Run, my child.
Run with all your might.
The end is getting near.
I can hear the crowd aroar,
see my patience ending,
with a golden crown upon my head.
I'll cast it at my Savior's feet,
for how unworthy am I,
to wear such a thing,
Is only His,
'Cause He's my mighty King.
