No one is better than
my Idol I cling to.
This Idol I hold onto,
The one that I sing to.
He rests in my heart,
a lullaby on a restless night.
Slighted by men,
to me, out of sight.
How I look up to you.
'Cause I want to be just like you.
Your precious, heavenly blood, shed
just for me.
You will be my Idol for eternity.
If you had come down from the cross,
all hope would have been lost.
Jesus, Jesus, it is you that I cling to.
Jesus, Jesus, it's you my heart sings to.
Jesus is coming after me.
Praise God!!! Hallelujah!!!
