Dozen Roses

- Fiction No
I bought a dozen roses,
petunias will not do.
They're as red as Jesus's blood.
Purple paper for royalty draped
around them.
Bought them for a steal.
You'll not believe where
I found them.
The little white baby breath beads
are for purity.
Jesus is coming soon.
My King, My Master.
Not sure if he sees the roses
if he'll get here any faster.
So, I think I'll give them to
Mom.
I'm sure she'd enjoy them more,
to know how much I love her,
and keep our treasures in heaven.
Someday we'll meet upon that shore.
Happy Mother's Day, Moms.
God Bless Mothers.
