- Fiction No
Aches and pains,
a sign of growing up,
He has cleansed us all in
His own precious blood.
Nothing too big,
yet, nothing so small.
tortured at Calvary,
He gave us His all.
As we look back,
so thankful for what
he had done.
God gave us His one,
and only begotten Son,
battles had been lost,
But, on this momentous occasion,
God's victory had been won.
Now we're meat for the Master's use
Ready to endure his shame.
Not overbearing, but rather loving and caring,
nobody's boss.
Who are these peculiar people
who shine for Jesus?
We are the Children of the Cross.
