I know I'm not yet perfect,
but I'm the apple of your eye.
You're my bright and shining star,
I'm in a yet so darkened sky.
When noone was listening,
you were there to mop up my tears
and absorb my pain.
Why would the King of all earth and glory take time
to shelter me from the rain.
When life's storms get out of hand,
I show them my God.
you would never suffer me to drown
in this world's sorrows.
You are God almighty.
I'm so unworthy, my Lord.
Yet your Holy Spirit resides within me.
I'm an overcomer through your Amazing Grace.
Your mercy endureth forever.
My Redeemer, He lives.
Praise you, my Lord!!!
