When this earthly vessel can strive no more,
when my eyes grow dim, and I can't see my Lord's Word.
It'll be well engrafted forevermore.
When this earthly vessel can strive no more.
When this earthly vessel can strive no more,
I'll have to sit closer to the front to hear my Lord's Word.
My hearing is failing, but I'll keep on sailing,
'till I can hear no more.
When this earthly vessel can strive no more,
I've gotten very old, my limbs are sore.
But, I'll praise you, Lord, 'till I can praise no more.
When this earthly vessel can strive no more.
This earthly vessel can strive no more.
Lord, I've followed you close.
I feel you knocking at my door.
I'm very tired, my time is up...it's time for me to go.
I can feel your presence like an overflow.
As I ascend, as I take flight.
I see my robe is a pure white.
Finally, I'm with my Jesus tonight.
Praise you God!
God Bless you all.
