His nail-scarred hands plead my case.
His sweat.
His blood.
My tear-stained face.
His agony.
His pain.
to my disgrace.
His only will?
to save our race.
Spat upon.
Beaten.
But not broken.
They hung him up for the world to see.
They left him for dead,
but God's will had to be done.
He had to rise the third day.
fulfilling prophecy,
our victory had been won.
He defeated the enemy upon that tree.
made a way back to the Father
for you and for me.
One day we'll see Jesus,
we can recall the love of his nail-scarred
hands saved us all.
He bore our burdens,
was bruised for our iniquities.
Willingly, he said, Father not my will,
but thine.
A sinless sacrifice, the Lamb of God.
Thank you Jesus.
God Bless you all.
