The Potter’s Hands By Jason Kirk Bartley
Writer Author Jason Kirk Bartley
Christian Poetry
:
Life
- Fiction No
He molded me with his two hands,
foresaw the life I’d live.
He still did not throw the vessel down,
but the breath of life he’d give.
He knew that his creation would stray.
He set out to call it back with love.
I knew the touch of the potter’s hands
and succumbed to his grace from above.
If it weren’t for the potter’s hands where would I be today?
I’d probably not be a creation at all,
or in the potter’s words a lump of clay.
