Jude23:a- — (KJV)
of the fire;
Andrae Crouch, the well known gospel singer and song writer, went home to be with the Lord in 2015. He wrote many songs. One of them was a song called “TELL THEM”. Some of the words to the song are written below.
“TELL THEM”
Even if they don't believe you
Just tell them
Even if they don't receive you
Tell them for me
Please tell them for me
That I love them
And I came to let them know
Just recently I had a dream. In my dream my father was warning me of a potential danger of going too near a fire that I saw.
I heeded his warning, and did not go near. Just the heat from the fire itself was extremely overwhelming! Hotter than anything I’ve ever felt!
After being warned, I quickly awoke from my dream to find my right hand experiencing a very hot burning sensation!
It was around 2 a.m. I knew there was no getting back to sleep after that dream, so I quietly went out to the living room.
As I spent time in prayer with God, my tears wouldn’t stop pouring from my eyes as I heard over and over in my Spirit, ...
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up forever and ever: Revelation 14:11a
I came to the conclusion my dream was about the fires of hell.
I know God wasn’t trying to tell me I was going there, because Praise God, and God alone, He saved me thirty-eight years ago and covered me in the precious blood of Jesus. I am eternally secure in Him! (Titus 3:5)
I believe also, the father figure in my dream represented God the Father. My earthly father knew Jesus as Savior and Lord, and has been in heaven for many years.
I lost track of time as I continued to pray. My heart felt as though it would explode. The grief and sadness I felt for lost souls overwhelmed me.
It was as though God was letting me feel His heart as He wept and cried out to all those headed for that place, where the smoke of their torment ascendeth up forever and ever.
The dream, was definitely soul shaking, and a good reminder to not only me, but to us all, that hell is a real place of torment!
Eternal torment for any and all who die in their sin without having asked Jesus Christ to forgive their sin and be their Savior.
Mark 9:44 says hell is a place; Where their worm dieth not and the fire is not quenched.
Hell is definitely a place Jesus did all He possibly could, to keep us out of. He willingly paid the price for our sin when He died on the cross at Calvary.
He pleads with all of His children who have accepted His sacrifice as full payment for sins, to now, “Tell Them.” Those still lost in their sin, headed for that place of eternal torment called hell.
We know praying for the lost is vital. Acts 26:18 says:
So they may have their eyes open, be turned from darkness to light, be released from Satan unto God, and receive forgiveness of sins.
In addition, to prayer, Titus 2:12 says:
When we live sober, righteous, and godly, in this present world, it can get the attention and curiosity of the unsaved and possibly open the door for us to witness verbally.
Francis of Assisi said, “Preach the gospel at all times, and when necessary, use words.”
Another way we can Tell Them is through the use of gospel tracts.
I personally came to Jesus for salvation after reading a Jack Chick Publication tract called, “This Was Your Life.”
One evening I went to the grocery store in the pouring rain. The track was in a puddle. I picked it up, took it home, dried it out, read it, and asked Jesus to save me that night.
Whatever way we choose to witness, I pray our Father would impress upon our hearts the urgent need and desire He has for us to...”Tell Them.”
Prayer:
Father God, while the lost still have time to receive your great gift of salvation for their sins, help us to Tell Them, pulling them out of the very fire itself mentioned in Jude 23a. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen
