God, I face my own red sea
please part these troubled waters for me
In front I see-
water of such large quantity-
I cannot swim, I have no boat
and I can only wish this was a moat! :)
Behind me now I see
thousands of Egyptians chasing me!
Thunderous hooves hit the ground
the earth quakes at its sound
Their teeth are bared
and I am scared!
Lord, I am truly stuck
and simply mired in this muck
without your hand
I will not stand
I will be consumed
by darkness and doom!
Turning to the sea
a light shines for me
God can split this huge, wide sea-
He has means of a miraculous delivery!
Lord, today, I wait to see
what you will do for me
and how you split this vast, red sea! :)
Based upon Exodus 14:9-10; 13-16; 21
Exodus 15: 1-2,, from The Holy Bible
"stand and see the salvation of the Lord
which He will show you today"......
