The Word Became Flesh

Christian Author Writer Come here and let me tell you a story. Once upon a time there was a young girl, a virgin living in a town called Nazareth. One day while alone an angel appeared to her and told her she was going to be pregnant and give birth to a Son by way of the Holy Ghost. She was shocked but she believed.

But wait, let's go back to the beginning.

One morning God the Father, Word and the Holy Spirit (“In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God”) were looking down at the earth He created and loved so much. His heart was full of love for His creations especially the people who He considered His greatest creation. But as He looked down upon the earth this day He saw it had become dark and full of evil and His heart was heavy and He grieved. He thought to Himself about how heavy His heart was because of the evil one who had taken over the hearts of many of the creation and how dark the world had become. He knew in His heart it was too much for them and He pondered on what to do. He looked into the darkness and said, “what My people need is Light, Someone to free them from the evil and darkness they're living in...a Savior”! An angel heard and took this Word inside of himself and rushed it to this young girl Mary. He told her she would conceive in her womb, a Son and His name would be called Jesus. He would also be called the Son of the Most High. He would be a Light to a world filled with darkness and He would save His people. Mary took this Word into her innermost being and said, "Let it be done unto me as you say". Her word melded with God's Word and the Word became life and grew inside of her until His time came. “Then the Word became flesh and dwelt among us”.....Light had come to the world. Jesus said, "I am the Light of the world; he that follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have The Light Of Life." "The Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting Light and thy God the glory," Isaiah prophesied somewhere around eight hundred years before.

But the world had become so evil they rejected God's Word, the Light because they loved the darkness. The darkness turned on the Light and beat Him beyond recognition. A crown of thorns was plaited and shoved on His precious head. He was mocked and spat on as He was led away to be crucified. God saw that the Light was good, too good for a world filled with so much darkness. So God separated the Light from the world. When the sun saw what was happening it was saddened and refused to shine, so darkness once more covered the earth as Jesus, the Word cried out with His last breath, " It is finished" and commended His Spirit back to the One who gave it.

But through it all God had a remnant! He will always have a remnant! And these people carried this story of the Light into the world and many were saved. And many are being saved today! So my friends my prayer is that you too will carry the Light to a lost and dying world.

Be blessed this day!

“Then Heaven opened up and behold a white horse; and He that sat on him was called Faithful And True. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns and on His thigh a name was written: King Of Kings and Lord Of Lords. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood; and His name is called The Word Of God.”

JOHN 1:1,14 “IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WORD, AND THE WORD WAS WITH GOD AND THE WORD WAS GOD AND THE WORD BECAME FLESH AND DWELT AMONG US”

Tread softly on this heart of mine, it belongs to Jesus!
