If Jesus is God, then why do scriptures say Son of God?

Christian Author Writer We know that Jesus Christ is God and man. Jesus Christ is God in human flesh (II Corinthians 5:19). Isaiah said, "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel (Isaiah 7:14)." Immanuel meaning "God IS WITH us. John tells us in John 1:1-4, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth."

Jesus is repeatedly called "the Son of God" and also "the Son of Man". Mary was used of God as the host to bring forth the body of Jesus' humanity. Jesus had no human father. When the angel told Mary that she would conceive and have a son, she replied, "How shall this be, seeing I know not a man (Luke 1:31-34)?" The angel responded by saying, "The Holy Spirit shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God (Luke 1:35)." the Holy Spirit (Matthew 1:20). The Annunciation begins "the fullness of time" (Gal 4:4). Mary conceived Jesus the eternal Son of the Father in a humanity drawn from her own in whom the "whole fullness of deity" dwells "bodily." (Col 2:9).

Jesus as a man had a human mother, but God was His father, hence he was called “Jesus the Son of God”. Although Jesus was a fully human person, he also was and is fully God. Philippians 2:6 makes it clear that he is God, and that he set aside the use of some of his attributes to take on the form of the human, and die for the sins of the world. Titus 2:13 equates Jesus with God. Romans 9:6 describes him as God, who is blessed forever. And in Revelation 5:13 and 14 portray Christ as deity.

The Father is God (John 6:27; Romans 1:7; 1 Peter 1:2). The Son is God (John 1:1, 14; Romans 9:5; Colossians 2:9; Hebrews 1:8; 1 John 5:20). The Holy Spirit is God (Acts 5:3-4; 1 Corinthians 3:16).

All men are sons of God because we are His offspring (Acts 17:28), descendants from Adam (Luke 3:38). God's people are adopted "sons of God," Jesus is the only Son of God by nature (Rom. 8: 14-16). The spiritual relationship of Christ to the Father is not like the physical relationship men have with their sons (Isaiah 55:8, 9).
